Charlie has distinguished himself in the field and through his progeny. A true "gentleman's shooting dog", Charlie pointed upland game as well as being an enthusiastic waterfowl retriever. He passed quickly from liver failure after contracting a bacterial infection on a hunting trip. He is missed by the Nolan family, who cherished him for most of his life.
